Read an article a few years back on supplements being the cause of many sports injuries. To summarize, it was stating guys are gaining unnatural strength/muscles. But bones, ligaments, tendons are not able to support the unnatural muscle strength. They used an analogy of putting a car engine on a golf cart. Frame isn't built for it and eventually it will fail. They also compared injury % to old school sports. When guys were more naturally built and the numbers were in favor of their argument. It was interesting.

Pitching a baseball is an incredibly violent use of the wrist, elbow, shoulder, back, oblique and legs

I would invite you to get a few baseballs and at about 25 second intervals throw it as hard as you can to a cooperative receiver

About every other pitch twist your wrist to create some break

Report back after about 50 pitches though most of you reading this will have your arm in a sling for next 24+ hours

They can over train because of the PEDs causing havoc on the body and the unnatural muscle on the body also causes problems
